Kemer is on Turkey’s ‘Turquoise Coast’ approximately 45 km south of Anyalya. The town remains a small, pleasant resort which is popular with couples and families. This area on Turkey’s Mediterranean coastline also benefits from 300 plus days of sunshine every year. Kemer has an attractive marina, a busy resort centre with many shops, cafes and restaurants, and plenty of quality hotels. Surrounding the resort of Kemer is a naturally beautiful landscape with wooded valleys rising to the rugged peaks of the Taurus Mountains to the north. From Kemer visitors may want to visit neighbouring Camuyya, which is a smaller, quieter resort, or head north along the coast to the larger, historic town and holiday hot spot of Antalya which is also home to the closest international airport.
